I am going to a friend's house for a curry tomorrow (my husband is staying home to look after the kids) - what should I take. I know her from the school run and haven't known her very long and I don't really know her husband that much but we have really hit it off. They are moving away at the end of the month so should I take something for their new house, a bottle of champagne to celebrate their move or just some wine? (Haven't been out for absolutely ages - does it show?)

I like the story about the Irishman who was absolutely fascinated when visiting a friend who had just had twins. "How do you tell them apart?" he asked.
"Well", came the reply, "Seamus has a willy and Colleen doesn't"
My cousin's friend asked her after the birth of her twins whether they were identical, she said, "One's a boy and one's a girl" to which her friend replied - "I know that! but are the identical?"!!!!!!!!
