Trying to order a pair of warm boots online - can anyone explain to me what 'other' means? They describe them as being 'Upper - other'. Other than what?

Maybe, but that leaves a lot of other options doesn't it?

wherever they are listed probably has a set list of materials available to chhose from that the uppers can be made from, such a leather, canvas, rubber etc etc, other would just be anything that is not in the list.

Not a very helpful listing though, you could be ordering paper boots for all you know.
