har har, poodi! but...like anyone - it depends what you want to know...and if i was awake in that particular lecture etc. everybody has their own particular area of knowledge, but i bet most won't admit to having googled stuff at some point to jog their memory!!! x
sounds intriguing, poodi. blokes? if you are talking about our sickly menfolk, my son has injured himself countless times (he has inherited my clumsy gene!) and i have learnt a lot about different aspects of medicine from him...not that he appreciates it of course x
Very little actual knowledge in my case, but a whole lot of experience in caring for family members and seeing them through their treatments. Always asking questions and researching the medications and their side effects. Also my own illnesses and disorders and their treatment.
im rgn, sm, but medicine changing daily, sadly been a patient in last few years and i was very disappointed in the standard of care. i trained in the late 60^s and early 70^s.
Me, very little .. well I know where various bits of the body are supposed to be and how to stick a plaster on a cut, but the tricky stuff I leave to my wife or the docs
