Is it normal to worry about your partner going to a stag do in Amsterdam with a bunch of guys that are well known for being typical alpha males? x

They are. I know them. Have known them for years and have been away with them. They will be drunk before they get to the hotel...and that's the way they will stay.
Do you have faith, trust or belief in anyone being (and wanting to be) faithful sqad?!!!!!
depends...partner is such a fluid term....
Obviously not Salla. But like Vibes said...we live in a different era. We know how to have a good time without it involving getting laid.
salla....it is just my opinion based based on my lifetime experiences and a training that taught me not to accept necessarily the obvious.

I am not say that I am correct, just that, it is my opinion.

Remember the motto of my med school.."Humani nihil a me alienun ***"
I am a man and therefore nothing human surprises me.

Sorry if my opinions are unpopular.
What are you apologising for, daft man, you don't normally !!!

I just wondered, that's all.

By the way, love the motto x
salla....LOL....that wasn´t an apology......LOL
They are unpopular Sqad because you speak about your experiences as if you believe that all males are like you. You seem to find it hard to respect the fact that they are not. That some men have, and always will, stand by their morals.
salla....the motto was "homo sum nihil a me alienum p.uto"

No idea why the Ed wouldn´t accept it in it´s original form.

When I started at Med School, I thought what a bloody stupid motto, but as I have travelled hesitantly through the pathways of life, I have come to realise how apt is the message.
Have you ever stopped to think that what goes on on holiday when you are with them may be very different to what goes on when you are not there?! Incidently our opinions on 'good decent men' varies greatly - not sure I would describe them as such if they are already drunk before they arrive at their hotel!! Remember, alcohol can lower inhibitions and affect good-decision making...
sqad - parpppppppppppppp (that's a blowing a raspberry sound).

umm - i agree. There are people, of both sexes, perfectly capable of, and wanting to be, faithful.
ummmm......I am NOT saying that ALL men have no morals, I am just giving you my opinion based on MY experiences.
As I have been friends with these men, including my OH, for many years, I know what happens on these do's.
Doesn't much matter when the stag do is if you're insecure in your relationship and worry about the fidelity of your partner. He could just as easily play away on a Friday night out with the boys.
notnotnot -I think it would be normal to worry.Obviously not all people have insecurities but most have.
However IMO-the mind may be willing but I can assure you that no other part of them will be -so relax. Its bravado -ive been to Amsterdam about 6 or 7 times and witnessed the 'schoolboys' looking in the 'sweetie shop window'
Its a well known adage that prozzies in Amsterdam dont have sex as much as you would think -thats why they take the money first ;)
someone at work went to a stag do in Hamburg. He was relating to me how all the quiet, family men on the plane over were well beahved. A bit of drink in them and they were the first up the Reiperbahn.

i think all of them paid for some kind of sexual favour, maybe not full-on. TBH not paying for it is like going to Paris and not going up the Eiffel Tower.

If you're going to Amsterdam without the view to either getting stoned or laid then you might as well save the air fare and have the stag do in Eastbourne.
I am not 'judging' anyone by 'my' standards. I am a bloke, I have known blokes all my life. I think I might have just a little more insight into blokes than a girl might. I don't take drugs and I don't get drunk, these are my standards but I have known a lot of blokes get stoned, get pissed, and sh@g around as soon as they are away from their wife /girlfriend. I am answering the question. I can only give my opinion, that was it.
You might get a different answer from a nun.
