My OH has just gone to work, I have just got back from an hospital appointment and cant be ar55ed to cook anything for my tea, any ideas or offers?

I couldn't be bothered either, OH out for the day bowling. I've just had a Pek (been in the cupboard for ages) sandwich with tomato in a croissant.

It's chopped pork, boxy quite tasty, the OH had a thing for it a while back. It was just a small tin languishing in the cupboard. I enjoyed it for a change.

been out all day too.just had beans (heated in the micro) on toast with grated cheese on top, and blackcurrant jam on another piece of toast. oh, and a big glass of milk. took all of 10 minutes to make.

Actually, stotty cakes are a relic from the days when many housewives baked their own bread. Any dough left over, insufficient to make another loaf, was placed in the bottom of the oven, hence it's flat appearance. They were delicious, till Greggs got their hands on them.
