Could somebody explain the word play of 21 ac? The answer must be "absconder", but I'd like to know why!

Many thanks.

Sorry. I should have given the clue: "Namely, a person who sticks around? Hardly"
SC = namely

A Bonder = Person who sticks

ABSCONDER - Runaway
Perhaps I should have added that SC is SCILICET - namely

Many thanks. I should have seen that. My Latin escaped me.

Thank you, kayakamina. Once you wrote "SC", the penny dropped. Rather embarrassed that I didn't see it.
SC does not mean "namely", per Wikipedia :
"A similar expression is scilicet, abbreviated as sc., which is Latin for "it is permitted to know"."

This week's is a real stinker. For me, anyhow.
