Hi recently I had oral sex with a girl and now I hv a really sore throat (not like a cold) it's this painon the side of my throat @ the bk. Could this be a STI is it worth going to the GUM clinic or am I better off going 2 the docs? thnx

I'd go to the doc first and let them diagnose it. It might not be due to an STI.

Well I haven't had oral sex with a girl but I have exactly the same pain you describe- a horrible throat infection. Mine went away with a few days echinacea.

Or it could be thrush, but I don't think that's the symptoms but I don't know what they 'all' are.  It could just be coincidence but I'd go to the doc just to be sure
