A couple of years ago I heard a countrified type of song about Llanfair PG. It was a male singer, similar style to that popular Irish man (whos name escapes me *insert embarrased smiley*)

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? My daughter remembers me singing it and swears she heard it in Starbucks or some other coffee shop somewhere, but I've just spent 2 hrs trying to find it, to no avail.

This doesn't answer your question but...there's another song which mentions Llanfair... in full. It's the penultimate word in Stephen Sondheim's 'The Boy From...' which is in turn a spoof of 'The Girl From Ipanema'. Hilarious song, especially when sung by Millicent Martin, and well worth tracking down.
