I agree on raw bacon...parma ham....yummmm
As for chocolate...not if it is insipid British/American- the sort that is more sugar than cocoa.......you want a bit of bitterness.

Nutella is lovely on lightly brown toast. I'm with 4get on that one.
I've often been known to eat chocolatey things for breakfast.
Pain au chocolat in France is a breakfast staple so it`s acceptable
Hopkirk (diseased) - I used to live in Germany - a popular breakfast in NRW was muesli, topped with sliced fresh mango or peach, and topped with grated plain chocolate.
I preferred it to the locals' preferred breakfast - known as Mett - minced raw raw (yes, RAW) pork seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic and caraway served on bread.

Garlic certainly has NO place at breakfast!
