i have 4 chilli indoor plants, one have already grown one big fat and a half chilli, thats it, i get lots of little white flowers, but thats as far as it would go. they seem to drop off one by one. I had 10 flowers once thinking wow.. im going to get lots of chillies but as day goes by they drop off. i touched it lightly and they fall off! each plant are all growing flowers now...

why are they falling off? i water them regulary and they are sat by the window where i get most of the sun. what am i doing wrong?

Knowing nothing about growing plants I had the same problem last summer and went to the garden centre to ask. As they`re indoors they`re not getting pollonated. It was as simple as that! You need to put them outside where the bees can get at them. You could do it yourself by brushing over all the flower centres with a make up brush but I would just put them outside

argh thanks for that 237sj i will touch them flowers one by one lol

putting it outside is out of option as i live in a flat,
Eyeshadow brush is just the thing. Get to the middle bit and give it a wiggle, then go on to the next one1

well as i was doing that two more dropped off lol ...
Ive just brought mine in as the rain was knocking the white flowers off-they seem quite settled now.Nothing like as big as they were lasy year though :(
I must tickle them :)
Give them a feed with some tomato liquid plant food.. I did mine yesterday and it's perked up already! (and I'm chilli-sitting for a friend who's on holiday so am desperate for the thing not to die!!)
O good idea -I still have some left from last year.I'll pop off and do that now as they look a bit peaky. Its too cold and wet up here (Scotland) to put them outside -I dont know what I was thinking !!
Im laughing at the chillie sitting as I had to get someone to do it last year and I think they were dead nervous as well cos theyre my pride and joy (usually) lol
