chilli plants

I've grown a chilli plant from seeds from another chilli indoors how large do tha chilli's need to be before I can harvest them and do they go through the colour changes the same as peppers as mine are green

They start off small and green and then grow to more or less their full size and then they start to change colour -yellow/orange/red............once you see the colour change starting you are free to harvest them.

I used to grow mine on the window cill and had dozens of them. Unfortunately, there was only me in the family who ate them..........

You can harvest them at any colour or age. What variety, out of interest ?

Here's a serving tip. Get a cold ready roasted chicken breast and sprinkle with sliced chilli, cover and microwave for 2 mins. The chillis retain a pleasant crunch and add warmth to the chicken (I use scotch bonnets)
