Myself and my partner are going to Halkidiki in 2 weeks time and I can't wait... is anyone else going away this summer and where??

Have had a weeks break so far in Spain this summer -was away in April as well.
Feel like going away again -a little gite in France perhaps-nice and peaceful-we'll see.

Stayed at Cleveleys witht the kids during the 50th anniversary illumination celebrations much preferred it to Blackpool itself.

Doc -not that im excusing myself for going abroad as I love the cultural experience but we get rank weather all the time -youve had it lucky this year and I doubt if i'd be tempted to go abroad in the circumstances.

Hi Sigma, it sounds lovely. We are going to Pefkohori, apparently quite a small place but nice and friendly with some good tavernas....
