Has anyone heard Prince's new album 2Ten given away free in Saturday's Mirror.
It is a sensational piece of work!! and this comes from somebody who would normally run a mile at the very mention of this artiste's name, trust me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's not giving it away the paper is, they will have done a deal whereby they're newsgroup will have paid him several million and their advertisers will have paid an eqal amount to advertise in that edition as the predicted increased sales will have been enough to sway them

I respect Prince as an all round artist who plays, writes and records his own stuff in flavours of Rock, Pop, Funk and R'nB and is a real guitar genius (which is underrated by many). I admit having a couple of his albums but not really a huge fan. His last "Daily Mirror CD" Planet Earth was rubbish and so was his previous triple (or i think double) album. The only last album I remember that had some great tracks was an album called 3121.

I've not heard any of his stuff for years now. I used to be a fan but then went off him when he started all this name changing to symbol business. His version of Nothing Compares 2U (he wrote it) is much better than the Sinead O'Connor version.... although her version was very good too.

Haven't played mine yet, so cannot give opinion, but I think he has great stage presence and is very individual.

Funny how every times he releases an album everyone always says -

Doc, throwing it in the bin is what I anticipated doing with it. However for some strange, very strange reason I chose to give it a chance, and I have to say the chance given has been well worthwhile indeed!
