I'm hoping to move into a house which is part of a converted farmhouse. I have the chance to name the house, but I am one of the last to move in, and many of the obvious farm type names are taken eg The Stables. Does anyone have any suggestions for an agricultural name which may suit. All contributions gratefully received thanks.

Wheatus, Harrow, Furlongs, Furrows, Millbank.
Jethro, Farmer Giles and Dolly the Sheep are all agricultural-sounding names if you ask me (and yes, I live in the middle of London so what would I know...?)
The Briar or Briary. The Byre. The Bower. Hmm - seem to be lots of B words here - I'm not just going through the dictionary, I promise! The Fold. The Grange.
how about "gerrofmoilaand" ?
The Hayloft, Barley Cottage,
The Funny Farm :-)
The Wheatsheaf or just Wheatsheaves, Cornflower Cottage, Chiffchaff, Harvest Barn, Corncockle ( country name for the Purple Campion), The Willows....any tree, or bird.

Many thanks for all contributions. Admittedly I would have to think very carefully before using some of them, but they certainly made me smile. Should be able to get something out of this lot. Much appreciated.
