anyone know why they stopped internet shopping

I didn't know they had stopped internet shopping.  Is it everywhere do you know?  I'm sure my local store still has ads about home shopping.  I must have a look when I go into town on Tuesday.  Hope someone else comes up with an answer - maybe an Iceland employee!

Their website now only offers free delivery.......no online ordering.   Pity......wonder why they did that so quietly.

They got taken over around 2 months ago - one would assume it is something to do with that.

They are going to try and cut costs, and I assume that online ordering was not popular enough to warrrant the costs involved.

The reason in my area (where the Iceland shop is small) was that the nearest store doesn't stock everything that was on the internet & it was also too time consuming for staff to do the orders.
