Ladies: Have you dyed your hair from brown to blonde or blonde to brown? Did you find that people treated you differently? Did you get a different sort of attention from men? Which did you prefer?

YES, frequently
and NO, no difference that I noticed.
Yes I have.

Yes they did.

Men subtracted about 50% off my IQ when I was blonde (I'm not bright enough to have such a subtraction!)

I prefer being a brunette... plus it suits me more.
I'm naturally dark blonde and had highlights for over 20 years keeping me blonder.Last year decided to go dark (I now have red highlights) and would never go back.I did get treated differently but I just look better and have been told, younger. It's also less maintenance without 4 weekly root touch ups! I've had loads more positive comments from men since I went dark (but I am very happily married!)
Yup I naturally have dark brown hair and for years I had it blonde, I got much more attention off guys when I dyed it back dark xx
I was asked on here last night if I am blonde - tsk, I did ask rather a facile question!
I can see the red highlights in the avatar barb - gorgeous!
im too dark to go blonde unfortunately, and im a complete rottweiller
died my hair from bleach blonde to brown, people did treat me differently they laughed because it went green
I change my hair colour really often, and when I worked in ITU it was really obvious how differently I was treated, The doctors who treated me as a professional as a brunette were nigh on patting me on the head and treating me as a complete dumb bunny as a blonde and flirting like mad when I was a redhead.... all in the space of 2 weeks.
I am dark blonde/mousey and have been mostly blonde since 15 but have gone back to natural or brown on a few occasions. I am now mousey/grey/blonde highlights!

I loved being blonde best, just felt much more confident and more like the real me. I can't say I have ever noticed any different treatment when I tried brown, but I think I acted differently and lost my confidence a bit.
