They're all fairly closed knit towns up there. I knew some people from Whitehaven.

As he shot himself I'd say the choice to commit suicide came first. Taking innocent, anonymous people with him is something no rational person could ever understand.

Oh Dear.....Just can't believe anyone would get to that state Bobbi. If you feel that life isn't worth living I can (somehow) see you would take your own life, but 12 People..so very sad :o(

My brother took his own life 6 years ago because he was deeply unhappy. He never hurt anyone else, apart from the big void he left in our lives. The taxi driver didn't have to slaughter 12 innocent people...

I have a sister but we don't see much of her.
