Last friday I sent my cv(i know they got the cv as they replied saying thanks) off in reposnse to a job advertised for a local firm but ive not heard anything back yet, should i ssend a polite email or leave it a little longer

Well went for the interview and it thought it went well but 1 thing, how long would i leave it before i contact him asking if he has made a decision yet(if he hasnt got back to me yet), would a week be ok

Well he got back to me today and said no thanks even though i ticked every box in the job ad, hate it when that happens, beginning to think my current job is some kind of curse on me,
