Most of us here in Britain ask for longer sentences but is this a little over the top?

1,040 years each but they wil only serve 40 years, the maximum allowed for terrorists.

'Tis a bit silly to sentence someone to a term of incarceration that they have no chance of serving. But 40 years is not long enough in my opinion - they should spend the rest of their lives rotting in a damp, windowless cell.
^^ I agree.

The convicted should serve the time they are sentenced to. No ifs no buts. I can see no reason why you would let them out after killing two innocent people in a planned act of violence.
And how will they be able to pay the 700,000 euros (£610,000) in compensation to the family of one of the victims and 500,000 euros to the other?
If it was over here they`d only serve 200 years of that sentence

The law is an ass
