That when you do a 'good turn' for someone be it a friend or a complete stranger that this gets reciprocated to someone else, as in it has a 'knock on' effect - for example, giving way to another driver to let them in the traffic queue or allowing someone to go ahead of you at a checkout queue ? I find this happens alot...just an observation....

Sometimes - but it makes me feel good for having done it, anyway.
Wasn't there a book or a film about this? I've done a few good turns but I've never noticed whether there has been any effect because of a small kind deed.

I agree, it does make you feel good, but at the other end of the scale are those people that dont say 'thank you' especially the driver you let in ahead of you....lol....
Hi Roughquest and yes I agree also :)
I think the film is called "Pay It Forward" a very good and interesting film!!

Hi Ratter! Hope you are well :-)
No. I usually find that for every good deed for a person, someone else drops dung on you from a height.
I like to be courteous to other folk, whether it be allowing another driver into the traffic, or allowing someone with a small amount of shopping to go in front of me, however, some folk do not say thank you, I don't let it bother me, it's just sad that they don't have the good grace to do so!............
