I'm having difficulty in working out which of you is talking tongue-in-cheek and which actually believes the absurd and totally impossible story of the Ark.
I'm told that down at Sonning they've found the actual boat used by Harris, George and J. And Sherlock Holmes' deerstalker has turned up in a cellar in Baker Street.
Isn't it amazing how when radiometric dating suggests the 'ark' is of about the right age it's a credible scientific tool, but when it suggests the Earth is not, in fact, 6,000 years old, all of a sudden it's completely wrong.
I have to wonder if they've considered whether carbon isotopes decayed faster 6,000 years ago..?
Gosh! You mean you don't believe it Chakka? Well, all the answers are here (if anyone can be bothered to read it), including what Noah did with the animal waste.
Birdie, I've asked similar questions. For example, if God wanted the Israelites freed from slavery, why did he go through all the palaver of the plagues instead of just zapping them out of bondage?
