..are you married?
Funny you should post this as mine is going up the wall lately.  Things are on the planner I never put there, I just thought the sprogs might have sodded about with it.  Also it freezes half way through watching a recorded programme. Will have to get them out to have a look.  My friend recently got it installed and had to have the box changed because it was playing up.  Up until this grumble the thing is absolutely brilliant.

Yes i am married (with kid) what's that got to do with it??

I agree up until this hitch sky + is amazing!

i think this glitch happens with all sky+ boxes from time to time.as for progs recording that you didnt ask for,i think thats a bit of naughty work by the tv execs and sky.you may recall that tivo got in trouble a few years back as they were adding progs into peoples planners after (allegedly)accepting incentives from tv companies.

sky+ is so good that when it does go wrong it seems worse than it actually was !

mines been freezing again too. already formatted the hard drive and it was fine for a month. Now it's freezing again. will be getting a Sky bod out next week and probably have hard drive replaced

So can I kinda hi-jack this - rather than post another Q.

We have just ordered Sky+ - thought it was a brilliant conception.

Is it worth it from all you bods out there who already have it? Would really appreciate comments - forewarned is forearmed. Ta

Sorry toonmilo:)

Buddy - despite our negative comments, sky + is absolutely brilliant ! once you have it,you wont be able to live with out it !

like i said, its so good that when it does go wrong the problem seems larger than it actually is.my main problem is every 2 months or so,my hard drive loses capacity which apparanely is a bug that sky are working on.some people dont suffer with this at all but it is easily remedied with a quick bit of 'housekeeping'.

happy sky+ ing !

it's great. the occassional freezing is the only prob I've had. being able to pause any programme you're watching to nip to the loo or make a cuppa etc is wonderful. also being able to rewind during a prog or film to catch a bit you missed is very handy.
