After The Tripartate Act, Egypt was effectively ruled by Britain, France and Russia, afterwards there was an uprising which was suppressed bt Sir Garnet Wolsleley after the initial assault on Alexandria failed, Egypt then (I think) became a British protectorate, because of this we had the first and then the second Anglo Sudanese wars (latter 1899 was an official foreign policy objective, the former wasn't), so, how come Egypt became part of the Ottoman Empire and bound by the first treaty of Lausanne?
You'll have to forgive me, my knowledge of this piece of British and Egyptian history is a bit patchy, I fear I may have got it wrong somewhere along the line, hence my cofusion.

So why was it bound by the treaty of Lausanne?
I've looked at it and I don't understand the border thing either.
