I would like something transferred from vinyl to CD and I've used a company called Sweet Memories before, but their site is down, so can anyone suggest somewhere else I can try...and if you give a link, please could you break it up into phrases, as it gets compressed and then I can't read it and I get depressed...and we can't have that can we?...smile. Ta Muchly.

Do you normally send your vinyl albums off and get them converted? How much does that cost? I bought my husband a converter from Maplin Electronics. It's just like a turntable tht you plug into your USB port and it's really simple to use (my husband is not very technically minded and can use it no bother). It cost about £50 or thereabouts and he's converted loads of albums with it.

Many Thanks for that info Karen and I'll keep it handy, but this wil be probably another one-off and last time it cost a tenner, so if and when Sweet Memories are up and running again...though as I write I've just thought why the heck don't I phone them instead cos it's just a case of sending vinyl and dosh to them...yeah, what an idiot I am!...no need for all and saturday to agree with that...smile...but Thanks Karen.
