How did you know we were having that for dinner? I did do some lovely fresh mussels in white wine sauce last night. And we're having popcorn cockles for starters tonight.
Cockles....you soak them in milk for a bit then roll them in seasoned plain flour with paprika....then deep fry and serve will salad. Very nice.
We only have Bacon and Cabbage about once a week. Usually a Monday as it's easy...but we were both feeling a little bit crap after the weekend and didn't really have an appetite.
