tide remove stains during normal wash but first wet your cloth with normal water and apply tide on stained part. Media URL: http://www.shopdownlite.com

My machine is cold fill, but the machine heats the water during a wash. Doesn't yours?

If you have what looks like a stubborn stain it's best to either soak the garment in cold water overnight, or moisten the area concerned, rub it a little concentrated washing detergent and leave for half an hour before putting into the machine. Nearly all new machines are cold fill but the washing water heats up to the appropriate tempterature according to which programme you select.
I use Ariel liquid (not the gel). For really stubborn stains (my eldest son always seems to have mud,oil and all sorts on his jeans) I put it on pre-wash.
Mine new machine is a cold fill, but heats up to whatever temperature you wish, or shows on the dial.

I use Persi non-bio & a handful of soda crystals in with my whites. Oh & softener.
