Can anyone name the first childrens TV show on BBC2? It wasnt Jackanory or the Teletubbies.

I think BBC2 started in about '68 so this is a totla guess, was it Sooty and Sweep or Pinky and Perky? Or The Flowerpot Men?

I'm not certain, but I'm fairly sure 'Play School' started on the first day of BBC2.

just read up some info on net and apparently due to a cock-up in 1964, Play School was first programme on BBC2
