I would like to be first to congratulate Prince William on passing his helicopter pilots license and getting his wings. Presented by his dad , Prince Charles.
The royal family are so talented.
They are super rich ...
Can all fly aircraft ....
and rise above all us peasants , who have to work and pay taxes.

Hope the software is good in whatever helicopter he flies ....

If he's going to fly Search and Rescue flights, he will need all the skill he can muster - there's no hiding as a pilot if you do that job, get it wrong and a lot of people can die.

So best of luck to him, say I, doing that job!

He'll have a full-time job, be paid by MOD and he'll have to pay taxes.
As Androcles says, there is NO hiding place for bad pilots............

His Uncle Andrew did the same thing, very very tough training and even tougher job, Andrew saw action in the South Atlantic in 1982, I expect we will not see William in Iraq or Afghanistan as he is the next in line after charles, but he'll be kept busy here, as many other helicopter pilots are already on active duty in those places.
