Hi lotsafun,

A very nice thought.....All sorted and done in our cul de sac, as not many neighbours, and us "younger"( i use the term loosely....lol ) ones always check if the lovely "mature" peeps need supplies, clean drives ( we had fresh snow last night into this morning....a nightmare at rush hour a.m ) any problem solved basically, so they are all pretty active actually and supplied me, mrs bear and about 8 of us with unlimited coffee, tea, cake, biscuits etc, this morning, as we went about about cleaning the drives, paths and road areas this morning....all done in about 3 hours, but we all had a great natter too, which was excellent.
All the children surprisingly went in to school, but later than usual, but there were MANY closures too.

Good for you, lotsafun for posting this thread :0)

All the best

yogi

p.s........gotta go out soon to Sqad's namesake ( Little-hampton.....get it?....oh please yourself....lol ) so will brave the elements later too, but gonna be -2 tonight here on the south coast.

bye for now
Nice idea considering what just happened in Northamptonshire recently.
I offered a solution for our elderly earlier in the day, thus making them once again useful to the society- it wasn't very well recieved :-(
sorry I wasn't in when you called snags........it was my turn to lay on the pavement...
I haven't got a pavement, and I refuse to lay in the middle of the main road, even for BOO!!
''sorry I wasn't in when you called snags''

No worries... I warmed your neighbour up instead...
my elderly neighbours 'look out' for me. they even call me very late at nights to see if i got home safe. i love the to bits!
