I have purchased a Ford Fiesta for my wife from a dealer who had purchased it at auction, when she switched the radio on it asked for the radio code, but the dealer doesn't have one. Can anybody advise me whether there is any way of finding the code, or bypassing it? Many thanks and a Happy New Year to everybody

I would insist the dealer gets it fot you, at his expense.

Trading standards might be interested if he refuses.
no way of bypassing it, Ford main dealer can obtain it for a price...
Last winter my battery went flat, and of course the radio lost it's code.
Contacted the local ford dealer, who said ''bring your registration documents in, along with the vehicle''.
That was just to prove I was'nt fitting a stolen radio.
They got the code and re-set it ....£15
Post here the Serial number on radio sticker (Letter & numbers) (and the radio type/model)
I'll tell you the code.

Hi AlBags,
Happy New Year and many thanks for your offer, I posted a reply earlier this evening but it hasn't been displayed. I have been unwell and haven't been on the computer until today so I will get the number etc. off the radio tomorrow providing I can release the radio, and I will put this on the site then. Once again, many thanks for all your assistance, John
No problem ... will check back here! A.
