It does look beautiful but unfortunately snow and freezing conditions can cause difficulties. We were without electricity and water for most of yesterday andl this morning. We had to lug some oil heaters in and cozy up in one room. It was rather nice to snuggle up and play board games by candle light.

Hmm ... just Googled Aberdeen. It's a terribly long way away, isn't it !

On Sunday, I got home from Wengen to my flat in 7 hours.

According to Google Maps, it would take me 10 hrs 26 mins to drive to Aberdeen.

I'm in preston bagpuss!!! You'd not have got here anyway!!! My boss lives at Wrightington and he got in ok at 7am but he's worried about getting home, I'm not at work today though, and i was supposed to bne going to the Asda at Robin park today too.

Oh dear,now you are making me feel guilty here in East Sussex.
We had about two inches of snow over Christmas,it has laid,but is now melting (slowly).
There is always someone worse off than yourself,isn't there.
