I am moving to a new house on Friday I would like insurance for it straight away. Can anyone recomend a company that will not to know my blood group etc and where I can pay for the first year at once

I have never known an insurance company ask for my blood group when quoting for house insurance. Just go on line and get a quote either from a comparison site or any insurance company you fancy.

No I am not moving to the Bronx - but if the roof blows off at the weekend I want to know I am covered. Some companies want to know so much about you they might as well ask for your blood group and when you last had sex. They are also on the phone constantly trying to flog you something else
you just need to tell the person on thephone that you dont want any marketing offers etc, or if doing by internet, untick the box
If you want the insurance to work when you have a claim - you mst answer all zee quvestions - simples
