Once again, the Italian prosecutors in the Knoxy case demonstrate their absurd grasp of the "facts"

Yesterday, the Prosecutor drew the jury's attention to "the contrast between"

(1) the "elegant silence" of the family of Miss Kercher, and

(2) the "media pressure" exerted by "the Knox lobby"

The reality ?

(1) The Kercher family have issued a $22m civil action against Knoxy, hoping to cash in on Meredith's death.

(2) Anyone who believes that the "media pressure" has been in favour of Knoxy is clearly nuts. It is hard to imagine how the media could have been any more hostile towards her.

Even as the Trial draws to a close, the twisting and lies continue from the Prosecution.

Still ... the Jury should retire next week.

Knoxy will be home for Christmas.

Have a nice day, everyone.

The Knox family have no money.

Her parents have sold everything they own to fund the defence.

They are only able to go to Italy to be at the Trial because of donations to Amanda's defence fund

(Raffael Solecito's Italian family are very, very wealthy, but have not offered to help the Knoxes)

So Meredith's family are claiming $22m against penniless people.

It's just a cynical publicity stunt ... and a nasty, greedy one at that.

It's a shame. I suspect they have been put up to it by the Italians.

I'm sure Meredith's family are really nice people.
