Hi all, i'm needing a little help here, right i started taking the contraceptive pill and subsequently stopped it 2 weeks later as we have decided to try for a baby, thing is i have now come on very lightly after only being on 2 weeks ago but it feels different, all day it has felt like there is something "bubbling" in there, its not constant but a couple of time an hour and I have only had a few cramps but nothing like i usually have, can anybody shed any light as to whats going on in there?  Thanks

Meant to say also that I've not been on the pill for about 1 week now

Hi Ellenblue

The pill can lighten your periods and also lessen the pain of cramps. even thought you're now off the pill it may take a little time for things to settle back to normal. i have heard that after comming off the pill it can take up to 2 months to get pregnant - but im no doctor so dont take my word for it! seeing as you weren't on it for all that long Im not sure how much of this will apply to you, but if you have any queries I suggest you go and talk to your doctor.

I agree, see your GP. Oestrogen can play havoc depending on the brand of pill you were on
