O2 to O2 abroad

Hi, i'm going to Turkey in a week and was wondering if my free O2 to O2 texts will still be free? If i'm texting someone in England?

phone them, ask them, and get it in writing.

I went in May to turkey, i was told all texts and calls would come out of my free ones.

Ove the 2 weeks i managed to add a total of £150 to my normal bill.

I was told they'd come out of my free ones too. What they failed to add was this is at a rate of 4 texts taken per text sent. My bill was over £100 when I got back :-(

I would be very careful texting or calling from your o2 sim card. My daughter was away earlier this year and was told by o2 that she would be able to use her free txts but needles to say she couldnt access her free txts. It might work out cheaper for you to buy a turkish sim card and use that.
