I have grown herbs in pots on my patio for the first time this year. What do I do with them in winter please? I've got parsley, thyme, sage, mint, basil, chives and rosemary. Thanks.

I'd bring them all indoors and keep them in my conservatory, if you haven't got a conservatory then a bright windowledge will suffice.

If you leave them out over the winter you will probably lose them to the elements. Indoors they will continue to grow (albeit slower)

Thank you very much.
In the mean time, cut several sprigs from each plant and tie the ends of each individual bunch with cotton string. Hang in a sunny, well ventilated area until dry. Crumble dried herbs into small, individual plastic bags, label and use when needed...
