i posted a question a few days ago on how to calm my dad because he was really angry and stuff but i didn't manage to see the answers. my dad had already caused a big problem. he got my mums mobile and wasn't giving it back. my mum tried her best to get it back so he started hitting her and i tried to help her. at the end i called the police but they came 1 and a half hoursl later. i ended up with loads of cuts and bruises on me. my parents are now getting a divorce and my dad gave us till monday to leave the house. my dad is blaming me for helping my mum. what do i do? he might have done what he did but hes my dad and no matter what i still love him. i don't want him to feel as if i was the cause of all of this.

what? when i saw i didn't manage to see the answers i mean i didn't have time. i know they appear on your email but i had to do something you know to help my mum. she is the most important person in my life and i wasn't planing to let her get hurt.
You and your mum don't have to leave.

Have your father charged with assault and get a court order that he leaves the house and stays away. If he comes to the house he will be arrested and placed in custody.

Jerks like this need to be told what they are and face the consequences.
HE is the cause of this. Not you or your mother.
This is a wind up!

Bulimia, anorexia, piercings, etc, etc.

What next, babypeppie, eh?
since when have the police started taking 1.5hrs to respond to a 999 call about violence towards a child?
what did the family liason officer say?
If you had time to type all that then how come didn't you have time to look at the ansewers to your previous thread?
Good question & answer, redcrx!

This is where you start to back track, babypeppie.
No, you're not the cause - definitely not - but I don't understand why you haven't seen the answers to the first question you posted. I presume the question hasn't been removed from AB, so why don't you find it and go and read the answers now?
If you didn't have time to search for the answers to your last posting here's a link.

the nature of this question cannot really be advised by us, you really need to phone childline if you need someone to talk to who can help

you cannot complain to us about our lack of support because this is not really the place to ask such questions.

childline website also has a lot of advice for situations similar to what you have described.

your mum needs to talk to the police victim support unit,
why was your dad not arrested when the police turned up if you have cuts and bruises?????
you have aright to feel safe
Question Author
the reason the police didn't arrest him is because in cyprus the police is crap.
Police in Cyprus have a reputation for being very good when personal safety is concerned.

Which side of Cyprus are you?
this sounds a bit fishy to me or am i the only one who feels this?
