Wasp sting??

Just been stung by a wasp on me little finger, got most of the sting out an put my finger in vinegar but it's still throbbing is that normal? Iv never been stung b4 .... Ouch ouch !!!!

it will throb for a while...

I trod on one once - by mistake in bare feet! Wont do that again. Most pain I have ever experienced in my whole life!!!!

It will hurt for a few hours yet. It could even still be achy in the morning. if you get any sort of reaction go to your GP or nearest chemist straight away. If it's the first time you have been stung keep an eye on it, some people have bad reactions.
I work on a fruit farm, so I know what it feels like. you have my sympathy.

My poor little granddaughter,6, ran into a wooded area and must have disturbed some wasps in there nest. she had six stings over her arm,back and neck. thankfully she wasnt allergic to them but it has made her very nerv
ous when one is near her now.

Yes it was a wasp tony I had to flick it off but it was stuck cos of it's tail still in me finger :-(lilacben your poor little grandaughter hope she's ok now x

As tonyted says, a wasp will sting and withdraw its sting and move on. A bee's sting stays in the flesh and actually tears out the sting, poison sac and part of the bee's abdomen, which is fatal for the bee.

I got stung by a wasp a couple of weeks ago, on a finger, and it 'pinged' for about four hours!

Don't worry about feeling like a baby - it flamin' hurts!

Haha thanks andy it REALLY did hurt .... It couldve have been a bee but it was small an thin an hid in me towel wen I was fetching washing in... I think it was laying in wait 4 me ha :-) x
