Hi, Can anyone tell me how to keep cats from pooing in my garden. I have bought colius canina plants and this cat just ignores them and still does it. I have used all of the store pellets, pepper sprays and granules but none seem to work. Apart from shooting the bu**er I dont know what else to do. Any suggestions please?

Acceptance is the secret of a happy life!
Try moth balls .Been known to work.
feed them now and them
cats never crap where there fed they'll move onto next doors garden
Buy a super soaker water pistol and lie in wait for it.

Cats hate getting wet, and if you do it often enough it might look elsewhere. It is not cruel.

Also they like freshly turned earth, as it easy for them to dig. Try sticking lots of little sticks in likely areas, to make them inaccessible. Garden shops should sell them as houseplant supports.
I used to get those bronze coloured wire coat hangers and cut them up into 6 inch lengths then stick them in the garden close enough so that the cat cannot crouch down without sticking a piece of wire up his rear end.
The wire is also invisible from a few feet away and so do not look unsightly.

Ground cover is best deterrent, as nothing really works.
i have tried everything and my own cat uses our garden as a toilet and not just in one place it is a nightmare.
