Haha Lucky!!!
Plaiting your hair whilst wet will only make your hair kink, not curl.

Probably the best way is the old curlers in damp hair left over night or under a hairdryer.

Or a curling iron.

If your hair is all one length then you are not really going to get curls, you only get those with layers. You can get a pre-raphaelite look http://www.studia.no/bookcovers/978/1/8/5/4/3/ 7/9781854377265.jpg by plaiting your hair as above, or you could have ringlets which you can do by putting your hair in rags using setting lotion. There's a couple of helpful websites here
http://www.hairfinder.com/hair3/rag-roll.htm
http://www.dance.net/topic/4775581/1/Disco-Par ents-Only/Help-Please-with-Hair-Rags.html&repl ies=18

And the easiest way to get rid of waves or curls or ringlets if you don't like them is to wash your hair!

cant you use a GHD ?
The old fashioned way is to put the hair in rollers while it is still wet and then dry thoroughly with a hair dryer.

Hmm thank you all^^
but one thing i want to know is...
Whats a GHD Noway2?
GHD way is when you have the iron at the root (like you would when straightening) then pull it down and twist it as you do so. looked great on my hair when it was long x
eat your crusts

Am I right ?
I'm not wrong !
Use traditional curling tongues. Comb each section well first, apply some hairspray, curl. Curls will brush out.
Getting curls out is no problem if you just wash your hair and curl/kink it via any of the above methods. The curls have usually dropped out of their own accord by the end of the day in any case, but yes, if you don't like them, just wash your hair.

The only way you'll get permanent curls is if you use perm solution - and don't do that yourself if you haven't done it before. There's loads that can go wrong. Go to a reputable hairdresser and get it done properly.
The way I do a lot of curls in the salon (Toni & Guy Stylist) is to use GHD straighteners... or any really good/hot brand... Take a section of hair about 1 inch by 1 inch and close the straighteners close to the root, then flip the straigteners around straight away almost like when you curl ribbon with scissors! Then slowely move the straighteners down the length of the hair.. making sure you take the end right through.. its a little tricky and you have to be quite fast so that you dont get creases in the hair...

Good luck
Wash & blow dry hair straight. Pick our thin sections and wind around tongs. Just a few curly sections on top of straight hair is todays choice of style.
