I think it can have a very debilitating effect on the brain and some people lose their capacity for reason. It's different on a Sunday afternoon of course.

If you have made the bed, hung the washing out and the kids are out playing, why not?
As long as you don't have to drive anywhere that evening, I suppose it's ok.
;-)
NO no no dont do it,lol
not even on a sunday.
It wouldn't appeal to me, 'cos I just nod off when I have had a drink (which is not very often).

But it's each to their own, I guess .... as long as you don't have to drive, or keep a clear head for work or summat.
ifryou've got any spare i'll be the guinea pig......
Which may explain what happened to the Banks!
mccfluff you lush...

im more concerned about those that drink at night .
Good Afternoon dot.haukes.

I had to stay off alcohol for almost a month but had a very nice bottle of champagne last weekend and it was lovely.

I get headachey if I drink during the day.
I get sleep if I have a drink at lunch time (even just the one) so it wouldn't be very wise for me... Plus I'm fairly sure it's an instant dismissal where I work if I have a liquid lunch. I suppose on a Saturday or Sunday I could have a nap in the afternoon or an early night.
