Can anyone please explain to me, I always put photos from computer to CD-R and they play on my Panasonic DVD to view through TV. I recently put some on a CD-R from the same pack and it tells me "cannot play on this unit" I know they are on the disc as it will play through my DVD upstairs. What is the reason ??

Possible reason is dodgy discs. Don't matter that they are from the same pack.

This has happened to me loads of times when making music CD's.
Almost certainly dodgy disks - this sort of behaviour is very common.
There are good and bad disk manufacturers - the manufacturer isn't necessarily the company whose label is on the disk.
I personally have found disks made by Taiyo Yuden to be the most reliable (though still not perfect).
