Hi,

I want to add colour to my lounge as main colours are:
walls: white
flooring: darkish brown laminate
sofa: cream

I would like to know what colour would complement the above for accessories i.e.table,lamp,vases and painting

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I woild go for turquoise blue or olive green....or even both
Terracotta would look classy.
Your colours would suggest a pinky red would fit in.. Maybe best to get some swatches of colour and see what you like. It is you has to live with it.
lime green, turquoise, rasberry, red, duck egg blue, pale blue, blackcurrant - you already have a neutral scheme, you could go for pretty much anything - do you want a warm or a fresh look?
You could try to "unite" the contrasting colours of white and dark brown with something like caramel. And to that you could incorporate something peachy, but don't go heavy-handed.
I think the point is that you have neutral colours so could pick any other to go with it.

find an item you really love, a painting, piece of art, rug, etc.. and build around it.

Thank you for your prompt responses. Much appreciated. Didn't think that it would go with all the colours as mentioned above! Will need to look around and find something that I really like e.g. painting as mentioned above and use the colours within this to build around it.

Many thanks

Tom.
I'd go for the lime green!!

Navy Blue
