Last night I dreamt I was being whisked off to somewhere in the Greek Isles by private jet, and then taking a transfer by helicopter for the onward journey to the 5* hotel. My new boyfriend was impossibly handsome, but, before I reached my destination, I woke up. Typical.

I love that whole village life, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the tourist resorts. However, I spent my first year in Spain living in a tiny village atop a mountain where there was one bar, no shops, and no landlines. The nearest "shop" was 16 kilometres away, and believe me, the novelty wears off eventually. However, Greece is, in my opinion, a far nicer place to live than Spain.
