Any over 80's out there? I'm looking for insurance for a 5 day trip to Rome for a family wedding. Would appreciate any advice on where to find it.

Saga ?
Tried Saga and Help the Aged for my mother in law, but got best quote from http://www.staysure.co.uk/
I thought that Saga can cover over 80s, provided you can answer 'no' to the medical condition questions?
If not, or the premium is just too high, ask yourself whether you really need such insurance for a 5-day trip into Europe when you are with close family anyway.
Marks & Spencer do an insurance for older folks, I had to get a policy for mum a few years back and they were cheapest out of all of them.
buildersmate is correct, age is irrelevant
I meant to say there is no upper age limit with Saga ins, the med dec determines the price
The Post Office offer insurance for over 80's, but you can't buy it in a Post Office, you have to ring up for a quote. The details are in the leaflets you can pick up in any Post Office.
Hi E.R., you could try these they are a partner of Norwich Union who specialise in over 70s travel insurance.

Thanks to everyone for all that info. Buidersmate and Aniani you have put second thoughts in my head! Maybe I might just leave myself in God's hands.
