Does anyone know how you could go about having someone check your ticket out before a concert to make sure it isn't fake?  Bought tickets to U2 -  I can compare them myself with what I know to be real tickets, and they look fine, but I will still love to have someone check them out officially.  I would hate to turn up to the gig and find someone was just really good at counterfitting.  I mean, though they look real, all those numbers on tickets have a meaning, and when security people check a ticket they will know if from those numbers that it is a fake, so I would like to have them officially checked.

where did you get them from? I am assuming you didn't by them from the official vendors? Could you ask whoever you bought them from to show you confirmation/receipt that they bought them from a reliable source?

i guess you could contact the venue itself and ask them if you could come and see them before the show...but you'd risk them taking them off you if they are fakes! and you won't get your money back.
