I have a very small coin and I am wondering if anyone knows what it is. It could, of course be a load of rubbish and if so, I want to know that too! On the reverse side there is a nude man riding a horse and in one hand he has a sword and also there is a cloak swirling round his shoulders. It also says 1902. On the other side there is a head of someone - looks a bit like Edward Vii, but I am not sure and round the edge it says - In:of 1/2 sovgn:L:chr:lauer:hernberg: made in Germany. Some of the words may be different as they are so small it is difficult to decipher. Hope someone can tell me so that I can either throw it away or carefully conserve it (I hope).
Thanks.

The man on the horse is St George.

Thanks for the info. I can see now that the man on the reverse is indeed St. George. I had not noticed until you said that he was killing a dragon. The obverse though is entirely different from the picture you sent me. It looks like Edward Vll but the lettering is different. I am wondering now if the first letters might be Im rather than In, which might be an abreviation of imitation. Looks like it is not much good after all. Damn!!
If it is says "Made In Germany", I would doubt it is a genuine coin.
