Does Ambrose or Ambrosia (Food of the Gods in Greek Myth) appeal to you ?
Don't forget to take him to the Vet to be neutered and to get his Flu Jabs.
Used to have a Cat for many Years but sadly no longer have one.

Orlando :-)
Midas - after King Midas and the gold (White and Amber gold)??
Twilight , Edward or Cullen(Edward has amber eyes in Twilight)
Casper.
Sounds like he's albino - could be deaf? Put an 's' sound in his name. Stella?
Actually albino cats have pink or bluish pink eyes. However, he could well have hearing problems.

Mandimoo, is this the 9 months old kitten you adopted at the weekend? If so how are the introductions going with your 14 yr old cat. I agree with terambulan about white cats often being deaf, so it would be a good idea to get that checked, unless he responds ok to your voice. Names - Caspar, Snowball, Snowy, Luna, Luz, Shadow. Suggested Shadow in case this is the cat with shadow tabby stripes about which you asked in a previous post. Hope you find him a nice name. Please let us know what you decide. Schutz.
Goldeneye?

i really like some of those suggestions, but we have sort of settled on 'ghost' in the meantime. the introductions are going ok. i have not let them come face to face fully yet. they only get to be in the same room when they are being fed, with ghost in a cage. ahhhh, he keeps talking to my resident cat monsta. monsta seems quite uninterested, but batted the cage once. i am going to keep this up until after ghost has been done. hopefully they will be well used to the idea of each other by then.

i dont think he's deaf, but not completely sure. he does not jump or turn around if i clap my hands suddenly, but seems to know when im shaking biscuits for him... but im not sure if he just happens to look while i am doing it.... jury is still out on that particular question.
A white cat with amber eyes should be alright. It is the blue eyed whites who are usually deaf.
How about Jasper?
