Green Names

Can anybody shed any light on why some peoples user id's are coming up in green?!?!?  Puzzled

How does that stop imposters and how do I get to be green too?  How do i know if the REAL person is green or black or blue?  (I'm not being racist! :-p)

If you look carefully at VINNY100_2, the font is now different as well. He has a capital that now can't be confused with a lower case L.

So how do you go about getting 'greened'?

Never mind the names, how about lots of posts coming in lilac.  I thought that was something computer clever people did.  Only trouble is my halogen lamp washes out the colours.

I thought it could only be because they are newly registered - but why suddenly in green AB Ed?

How long would a newly-registered poster have their name in green?  Or, if their names are going to remain green for always, then later newly-registered people would have to be in a different colour to denote they were newer than these current new ones, otherwise we'' have 'old new' muddled up with 'new new'.
