Do you have any idea what your name really means? Where its origins lie? Do you wish your parents had chosen otherwise?

My real name is teutonic/German (Strange, considering my Jewish ancestory). It is the feminine form of Charles and means "Mankind".

What about yours?

lol! Funny you should mention that, Carrust, because when I just researched my name, I was surprised to discover that my name was the 8th most popular in Denmark in 2006, very popular on the East coast of America, and 6th most popular in DC. I was surprised by this until me old mucker pointed out the Kennedy connection.

Anyway, the phone rang a moment ago and me old mucker answered it. All I heard him say was, "No. Well, let me ask you, when was the last time you purchased a tin of Heans Beans?" The caller must have mispronounced his surname (Heinricy). I can't stop laughing. !!!

It's interesting how people change your name when you are abroad. For instance, when I've been in Spain, I've seen them refer to our Queen as Reina Isobel la Segunda (Queen Elizabeth the Second) and they call William "Guillermo" (Gee-air-mo)
My name is Hebrew and means "God". I just googled that.
